Woke up last night deeply breathing, I was confused and barely seeing. In a deep fear I leaned to see the sun; it’s the only way to stop thinking about death. About that. About death.
Realization of the saddest feeling: we’re all nothing but human beings.
As I opened my eyes before them, I felt the cold presence of the burden.
It felt like I was sinking deep, with an anchor wrapped around my feet; I was struggling to find a meaning, anything to let me sleep.
Please, let me sleep.
We’d rather give to sleep our lives away than, hear the stories of how we’ll die alone.
We’re too afraid to dwell on it; so we’ll dream, yeah we’ll dream until we can’t tell sleep from death.
Woke up last night deeply breathing.
Deeply breathe.
